Harare – 10.10.2018 – 11.10.2018
We are pleased to inform you on the forthcoming Zimbabwe Infrastructure, Power & New Energy Investors Conference, scheduled to take place in Harare at the Meikles hotel on the 10-11 of October 2018.
This event is part of a large line of events hosted by Euroconvention Global on this subject in over 25 countries worldwide, especially in the developing countries of the sub-Saharan region. This international conference is dedicated to showcase Zimbabwe’s potential as a promising and reliable investment destination.
Program: As Zimbabwe is looking at improving its regional integration in the Southern Africa region, this event will provide a detailed assessment of the current status of infrastructure and services associated with water and sanitation, transport, electric power and urban infrastructure in the country. Presentations and discussions will further feature the proposed policy options and action plans that will be pursued by Zimbabwe in order to strengthen its growth.
Zimbabwe has strong potential for electricity generation from hydro, solar and biomass resources. So far, only a fraction of the country’s hydro energy potential has been exploited. Solar and biomass resources also remain largely untapped. Wind and geothermal energy still need to be further explored so as to reach the potential they represent in other countries in the region.
The proposed program will address the further developments and private investments into Zimbabwe’s infrastructure, power and alternative energy fields. Partnerships, new technology and financing of these sectors will be at centre focus. The detailed agenda will be sent to you upon your reply to this email.
Audience: Participants will consist of the key local stakeholders, representatives from the Government, Multi-laterals and donors, international and local project developers, EPC contractors, independent power producers, construction and engineering services, technology providers, legal and advisory, banking, and private equity companies.
